Chick(en) Picks — A Treat for Chickens

Ingredients
- 355 ml (1½ cups) layer feed
- 118 ml (½ cup) oats
- 118 ml (½ cup) cracked corn
- 118 ml (½ cup) dried fruit
- 118 ml (½ cup) fat such as bacon grease or coconut oil
- 59 ml (¼ cup) chia seeds
- 2 eggs
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Divide into small loaf pans, muffin tins or even a pie plate. You might wish to make several smaller picks, to spread around, so the chickens don’t have to fight for the same one. Bake at 177°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes.
